My school recently changed its email domain format from [email protected] (which currently works when applying for the student license) to [email protected]. Unfortunately, the old email domain will likely be shut down in about three months.

On the official website, you can find the Notion page at (https://www.kzn.ch/angebot/dienste/it) by clicking on the hyperlink labeled "Online-Handbuch."

I’m not entirely sure I understand the issue. The old email address is already listed in GitHub under "swot/lib/domains/ch/kzn.txt," and my school has already been verified there.

However, my school has now updated its email format to [email protected]. This new format is also displayed on the aforementioned page under "Contact" on the right-hand side, where it states: it.kzn[at]edu.zh.ch (effective from July 18, 2024). Additionally, my school, Kantonsschule Zürich Nord (KZN), is listed on this website: (https://help.mba.zh.ch/office-365/allgemein/uebersicht-schulen-im-eduzh-tenant.html). This page provides an overview of all schools in Switzerland that have received an "EDU" email address.

Moreover, the school informed us about these changes via an official email, which can be accessed here: Newsletter. Additionally, the new email format is explicitly mentioned in the terms of use under Section 3.1.1. You can find the PDF document here: Terms of Use for IT Systems (PDF).

@skysurfer1508 Thank you very much for the clarifications. Pull request merged. Please start requesting the licenses in about an hour, to let the changes to propagate through our system.

The main issue was that the email domain @stud.edu.zh.ch is not owned by the school exclusively, but rather is a collective domain for several schools in the canton.
