v0.4 beta
NOTE: I strongly recommend upgrading ASAP if you are using an AMD graphics card. The new OpenGL implementation causes some problems with the game, and exposed a bug with InjectD3's OpenGL code.
Feature and bugfix release.
- Complete the implementation of specular highlights in OpenGL mode.
- Fix bug where the game would crash if GL_EXT_packed_pixels is not present.
- Fix textures not showing up in AMD's new OpenGL implementation.
- Fix GOG copy of the game crashing with menu framerate changes.
- Potentially improve reliability of capturing the game with OBS.
- Add a patch to fix vanilla bug with particle effects causing crash in certain circumstances (this was very common when fighting the Hellion mech).
- Allow the OpenGL renderer to use textures larger than 256 x 256 without crashing.
v0.3 beta
Minor release.
- Fix sounds sometimes being too quiet.
- Fix issue with some mouse inputs not holding when held down.
- Add ability to change UI framerate cap.
- Add option to change doppler shift factor in new sound code.
- Add specular highlights to OpenGL.
v0.2-beta
InjectD3 v0.2-beta
Minor update.
- New sound system stability fixes, should spam less OpenAL errors, should not have any problems with music destroying all sounds anymore.
- Mouse is improved. All "deadzones" should be eliminated and the mouse in the menu should be drastically improved.
- Fix mousewheel not being read.
- Fix mouse not working in briefing screens.
- New patch to bypass Intel CPU check, allowing powerup sparkles and other features on AMD CPUs.
- Fixed globalization bug in InjectD3Configuration where some config keys were written with non-English number formats.
- InjectD3Configuration now reloads the previous config, and remembers your command line parameters.
v0.1-beta
InjectD3 v0.1-beta
Initial release, with a few small bugs. Only works with the OpenGL renderer, check the included readme for details.
If you downloaded v0.1, I recommend downloading v0.1a which includes a proper OpenAL Soft binary
