Pterrible Discord Bot

Issue and feature tracking for Pterrible Discord Bot, created by Ineptitech. For more information, go to our website or visit the purchase page. Please see the FAQ Page before emailing us, thank you!

Eyo wtf is this

Pterrible is a Discord bot that works with the Pterodactyl panel API. It creates mirrors between Discord and your game server. A mirror is a Discord channel that shows a live feed of your game server console output and allows you to send console commands to run in that Discord channel.

To set up the bot, please see Getting Started.

Development Status

This bot is under development and new features are being added consistently. We are always very open to suggestions and ideas. The bot is available to testers for free while it's still in development. Upon release, it will be available for a reasonable monthly subscription.

Feedback

This bot is free in early access because we're looking for feedback and testing, and your input is very valuable to us. We ask that you report any issues you encounter and post requests for any features that come to mind. Testers who provide valuable feedback will be grandfathered into the full release at a discounted rate or for free, at our discretion.

Reporting Issues

You can report issues here. Please follow the instructions and be as clear and descriptive as possible when explaining the issue. Screenshots, screen recordings, and copy-pasted logs are also appreciated. Exact times (include your time zone, please) are extremely helpful in helping us find any corresponding errors in our logs.

Requesting Features

This bot is under heavy development and we're always open to new feature ideas! As with bug reports, please explain the feature in detail, and if you really want to go the extra mile, sketch up a little example in Paint to get your idea across 😃 To request a new feature, go here

Limitations

For security and simplicity reasons, there are a few limitations on what the bot can do.

  1. Only one API key can be associated with your Discord account at a time (this may be changed in the future as we allow linking game servers from multiple different panels).
  2. No two Discord accounts can use the same API key. Each user should have their own API key and their own subuser on the panel.
  3. Servers can only be linked to one channel/one mirror at a time.
  4. Channels can only contain one mirror at a time (this can get very messy).
