We need more documentation, but new tests should be added to src/views/dbTests.ts (or feel free to expand the abstraction or otherwise make them better. this was quick, dirty, and functional)
To run on android in the emulator you must have a x86_64 based emulator; it will not run on the default x86 ones because of missing libraries for mongodb
