The low penetration of connectivity-enabled OBUs is delaying the deployment of Vehicular Networks (VNs), and therefore the development of Vehicular Delay Tolerant Network (VDTN) applications, among others. GRCBox: Extending Smartphone Connectivity in Vehicular Networks The GRCBox offers an architecture that extends the in-vehicle connectivity by providing both inter- and intra-vehicular communication support. Using GRCBox each application can choose the interface for its data flows, which increases flexibility and will allow developers to easily implement applications based on ad-hoc connectivity, such as VDTN applications. If you use it, please cite: "Simplifying the in-vehicle connectivity for ITS applications" Sergio Tornell, Teemu Kärkkäinen, Jörg Ott, Carlos Calafate, Juan-Carlos Cano, and Pietro Manzoni EAI Endorsed Transactions on Energy Web 15(7), 2015, DOI: 10.4108/eai.22-7-2015.2260058 More documentation is available in the project wiki: https://github.com/GRCDEV/GrcBox/wiki The Javadoc is here: http://grcdev.github.io/GrcBox/doc/
