I am a Bioinformatics researcher at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. I use the power of computors to answer the riddles of the human genome and to make some ✨pretty✨ websites on the side 😋.
I am an avid programmer and web-developer but I am first and foremost an academic researcher. I am interested in understanding the underlying genetics behind diseases, more specifically how we treat them with drugs and the genetics behind how people respond to those drugs. I am currently pursuing my studies towards an MSc in Bioinformatics along my career path in academia!
