Opening a Terminal

Matteo Campinoti edited this page May 27, 2023 · 1 revision

How you open a terminal depends on the operating system installed on your machine.

Windows

Right-click on the "Start" button and select Powershell. If the powershell option is not there, you can use Windows' search to run it; simply click on the "Start" button and search for "Powershell", you should see a Powershell.exe option.

MacOS

Use Spotlight to run Terminal.app, or open it directly from your "Applications" folder.

Linux

All terminal emulators are supported, but for the best output the terminal should support at least 60 columns of text.
