Wiki page of RDFExcelIO project

This project aimes to provide Excel users with an easy to use extension, which enables them to import RDF data either from a file or a SPARQL endpoint and export data from Excel to an RDF file.

Test data

Data used for testing this project is available on GitHub in addition to the Excel extension source code: https://github.com/Fuchs-David/RDFExcelIO/tree/master/Test%20data.

The work, test-data-netmetr.rdf, is a derivative of "Open Data - Export of measurement results January 2018" by CZ.NIC, used under CC BY 4.0 by David Fuchs.

Installation guide

Step 1

Navigate to https://github.com/Fuchs-David/RDFExcelIO in your browser.

Step 2

Download the project as a ZIP file.

Step 3

Navigate to the directory containing the downloaded ZIP file and extract it.

Step 4

Navigate through the extracted directory structure until you get into a directory, which contains some files.

Step 5

Install certificate (filename: "RDF to Excel.cer").

Step 6

Open the "RDF to Excel" directory and run "setup.exe".

Step 7

Click on "More info", then "Run anyway", "Install" and finally close the installation window.

Step 8

You can find the added functionality in the Add-ins tab on the ribbon.
