FlsunSlicer 2.0 has been optimized and upgraded based on the powerful OrcaSlicer, fully leveraging OrcaSlicer's strengths in slicing algorithms, model processing, and making deep optimizations in key areas according to the target user needs and device characteristics. Meanwhile, FlsunSlicer 2.0 has improved the original algorithms to achieve high-speed, high-quality printing. By combining device characteristics for firmware upgrades, it fully unleashes the hardware's outstanding performance and potential, aiming to provide users with a superior user experience.
Note: This update does not support upgrading from version 1.1.5. Please download version 2.0 from the FLSUN official website. Users can install and use both versions at the same time. (Before installing on the Mac system, please modify the desktop icon name of version 1.1.5 to avoid overwriting the old version).
Optimizations:

  1. Optimize the "waveform grid" infill path to improve the overall printing speed. You can experience it by selecting the "sparse infill pattern" option.

  2. Optimize the "Simple Cross Hatch" infill path to improve model printing quality. You can experience it by selecting the "sparse infill pattern" option.

  3. For the FLSUN S1 model, an automatic cooling function has been added (automatic cooling when the model projection area is less than 10% of the heated bed area) to effectively reduce salmon skin phenomena. This feature takes effect after manually selecting "temperature justment".

For the S1 model with small boundaries, an internal cooling switch has been added to effectively remove some models that exhibit the salmon skin phenomenon, and it is recommended to be turned on when printing large models. Sometimes, due to the reduced speed of small boundaries, some models may exhibit layer lines, and we will continue to optimize.

  1. Optimize the accuracy of estimated time and estimated weight to make it closer to the actual printing weight and printing time.
  2. Add automatic cleanup of system profile when installing the same version.
  3. Add PLA+, PLA-silk, and ordinary PLA filaments, and optimize PLA-HS, PETG, and TPU filaments.
  4. Fix the bug that the program may crash when switching between different resolutions.
