W have two spots to "browse elections and polls":

1) First: "Browse Polls" (all public elections / polls)

2) Second - "My Elections & Polls"

This is somewhat less user friendly (less obvious - self-discoverable)

Proposed changes:

Keep "Browse Polls" (this is easy to discover)- but
a) merge both views
and
b) add checkboxes:

  • my elections only
  • public elections only
  • all elections (both "mine" and public)

Default selection:

  • my elections (if user logged in)
  • public elections (if anonymous user - user did not login)

We can leave this is as a discussion item in polish

Personally I prefer them to be separate. Browsing public polls, and searching through your own polls feel like very different use cases, even if they're functionally similar

That said I'm open to more input. I would also be interested to see how this is handled on other platforms
