Also its easy for botanists to get beakers, just go to the public lathe and get em. Or chem. Or logi. or Epi. Or use the ones you started with,

its like a bathtub. Also youd be surprised how defensive chem is of their beakers, and how selfish epi can be. Public lathes rarely have mats, either way you have to go to logi so this makes it easier for all parties involved.

Every time ive asked chem for beakers they've readilly handed em over, and ive never had an issue in getting glass for the lathe. Or asking epi for 2 beakers. Its a non-issue

the fact is that almost no botanists ever make hydro trays, and from most of those ive talked to its solely because its too much of a hassle to get all the required things.

Just ask logi for glass and use the service lathe or ask them to print the beakers, chem should also give them away since they rarely use the small ones.

Beakers aren't any harder to get than steel. Just ask epi, or go to the public lathe.

you can even find them in maints, and chem only cares about proper beakers
