Draws previews shadows of the elements that are to be created.
For nodes and ports this is a shadow element which is snapped at the mouse position.
For edges the shadow preview element only gets visible after selecting a source element.
After that the source of the preview element is fixed and the target is at a pseudo element which snaps to the mouse pointer.
