User Feedback

The User-Feedback is a tool to assist the integration designer during the Enrichment procedure. The Enricher tenatively annotates all values in the GCM from Platform, Technique, Feature, Target, Species, Ethnicity, CellLine, Tissue, and Disease with ontological terms and their ids. Often the syntactic match score is too low to make an automatic decision. Thus, the value to be annotated is inserted in a particular table with a set of suggested annotations which could potentially fit for the purpose.

The integration designer can browse these suggestions and select a preferenc. Alternatively he/she can reject them and provide a manual annotation (this requires a source and code coming from an existing ontology on the Ontology Lookup Service system).
