Curses Program which visualizes network traffic by reading
/proc/net/dev
.
Only tested with sbcl on Linux.
Clone into quicklisp/local-project
(or somewhere else where
quicklisp/asdf will find it) and run (ql:quickload :cl-netstat)
(asdf:make :cl-netstat)
You might need to run (ql:quickload :deploy)
before running
asdf:make
.
Since this is a curses program one has to run it inside a terminal. You
can either start up sbcl, load cl-netstat and then call
(cl-netstat:main)
or build an executable via
(asdf:make :cl-netstat)
and run that. When using the executable
see -h
for configuration options.
For color support to work the terminal used has to be able to display
more than the 8 basic colors. If the terminal supports colors, one might
have to set the correct TERM
value. For example for xterm this
would be: TERM=xterm-256color
. If the used Terminal does not
support colors, one can specify -c none
. See -h
for other
color options.
