Portable Storage Interface: A portable interchange point for moving items to and from a structure moved by a piston, bearing, minecart, or pulley. Two meeting interfaces have to face each other and be spaced 1-2 blocks apart.
While Moving: Interacts with stationary portable storage interfaces to transfer items to and from the contraption. Components inserting into or extracting from the Stationary Interface will interact with the inventories on the contraption directly. The structure will briefly stall as items are exchanged.
When Powered by Redstone: Disengages any active connection immediately.

The Portable Storage Interface (PSI) is an advanced mechanical component that functions to move items onto or off of Moving Contraptions on Mechanical Pistons, Minecarts, Rope Pulleys, and Bearings.

Obtaining

Portable Storage Interfaces can be created through the following methods:

Recipe Input Output
Crafting:
1 Andesite Funnel
1 Brass Casing
1 Portable Storage Interface

Usage

Loading and unloading

When a PSI on a moving contraption faces a stationary PSI with one or two block spaces in between, the contraption will briefly stall and allow components interacting with the stationary PSI to directly interact with items in the contraption inventory.
