Quando eu tentava realizar upload da mesma imagem a função de callcack não era executada.
Isso ocorre porque existe um teste para verificar se a imagem carregada é a mesma que a anterior.
Adicionei uma flag para infromar se o programador quer forçar a atualização da imagem mesmo sendo a mesma imagem.
