Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and data collected from a single stationary camera offer a complementary method to collect Argus-like data and produce Argus-like products without installing a multi-camera Argus station. In some ways the UAV/single camera approach is much simpler and more flexible, but it comes at a disadvantage of much increased book-keeping and case-by-case processing compared to an automated multi-camera system where data are processed using the Argus Database and CIL Toolbox. This wiki offers some guidance and suggestions on how to handle UAV/single camera data an organized and predictable way so that the data locations and organization is obvious even well into the future after details have been forgotten. This wiki describes the algorithm in the CIL Toolbox UAVProcessing and the CIL standards for data storage and archiving. A specific example is given for data collected using a DJI Phantom 3. Phantom 3 data used in the example are available for download here (724MB).

Note that tower based camera data can also be processed using the UAV toolbox.

Note that this would be a good case for using a gui, if someone would make one.
