Welcome to Suspicious Email Submitter, or SES, for short. This browser extension will help you submit suspicious emails from your browser to a MISP server. To use the extension, you will need a configuration file from an organization running a MISP server. Once you have your configuration file, follow the steps below to get started.

  • Install the extension from the Chrome Webstore or Mozilla Add-ons. After installing, the Settings page should appear.
  • Drag and drop your configuration file onto the Settings page, or click 'Choose File' to select it.
  • While viewing a suspicious email, click the button in your browser action bar (to the right of the address bar).
  • Review the email content to make sure it is correct. When viewing a thread with multiple emails on the page, the extension will capture the first "expanded" message in the thread.
  • Click 'Send' on the popup to submit the email to the MISP server.
