How the reward timeout works

There are two different ways to ban or time someone out with the reward.

1. By @'ing the user you wanna timeout, you can add other text in the redemption.
2. By not using @ you have to put ONLY the username in the redemption.

Note: You can always ask moderators for a refund if something didn't go as expected

How To Connect

1. Start by creating a channel point reward in your dashboard
2. Require the user to enter text upon redeeming the reward.
3. Connect the bot to the reward by using one of the commands below in the text box when redeeming the reward.

Connect to the bot - Examples

• !add reward timeout600 This will make the bot turn the reward into a 600s timeout reward. (You can change the numbers after your own preference, but no spaces allowed.)
• !add reward ban This will make the bot turn the reward into a ban reward.

Edit the connection - Examples

• !edit reward ban Changes your reward into a ban reward.
• !edit reward timeout300 Changes your reward into a 5min timeout reward. (You can change the numbers after your own preference, but no spaces allowed.)

Delete the connection

If you want to remove the connection between the reward and the bot completely, then delete the Channel point reward and create a new one.
