Maillists that we care about & their purposes.

Regular maillists:

csss-members - Contain all CMPT majors, CMPT minors, and CMPT honours, plus all students currently taking a CMPT course this semester. Updated every semester.
csss-honorary - A list CSSS members manually maintained by the DoA
csss-announce - the union of csss-members and csss-honorary
csss-bot-manager -
csss-exec - messages all csss executives
csss-former-exec - messages all past csss executives. That is executives from the past of ALL TIME. I would like for this to include gmails & not be publicly accessible
csss-elections - messages all active elections officers
csss-first-years - messages all first year students; important for inviting new students to frosh
csss-policy - for the csss policy committee (i assume)
csss-volunteers - for any csss volunteers who are not execs (events committee perhaps?)

Event maillists:

csss-fas-formal - for payments for fas formal & questions
csss-frosh - for csss frosh week
csss-frosh-chair
csss-frosh-leaders - for messaging frosh leaders
csss-hackathon - for any hackathons, helpful for coordination & such
csss-hackathon-chair
csss-silicon-valley - for the yearly sillicon valley trip, helpful for running interviews
