Lite Life

LiteLife was developed in response to the prevalent issue of unhealthy eating habits in Indonesia, leading to rising concerns like obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. The primary goal is to address the lack of awareness regarding daily calorie needs among the population.Unhealthy eating habits in Indonesia contribute to rising health concerns such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. According to UNICEF (2018), a significant percentage of the population faces these issues, with 1 in 5 school-age children, 1 in 7 teenagers, and 1 in 3 adults being overweight or obese. A key challenge is the lack of awareness regarding daily calorie needs. To address this, LiteLife, an intuitive calorie logging app, was developed. Going beyond tracking, LiteLife calculates daily calorie needs and provides personalized food and exercise recommendations. By simplifying calorie management, LiteLife aims to empower Indonesians to make healthier choices, reduce chronic disease risks, and cultivate enduring well-being.

How To Use The App 📱

A. Getting Started

Prerequisites

Android phone and internet connection.

Installation

Get the app from our releases page.

Register

Open the app and click register then fill the form.

B. Usage

How to use Life Lite

  1. Open the app.
  2. Login to your account.
  3. Fill the form (Gender, Age, Height, Wegiht) and your specific situation (allergies, vegetarian, medical history)
  4. Choose your target
  5. You will be shown the profile dashboard
  6. Choose a list of foods that you consume in the morning, afternoon and evening
  7. You will be shown recommended foods based on your calories and nutrition, choose one of the foods you want to consume
  8. You will be shown a description of the food, offered features to cook it yourself (food recipe) or buy it on the market
  9. Select the sports feature, then you will be shown a list of sports based on your excess calories
  10. Select a consultation to speak with a nutritionist

Notes: Any other version could've worked this in only recommendation.

B. Steps

  1. Open your cmd or gitbash on predetermined install location.

  2. Clone repository

     git clone https://github.com/CH2-PS287/MD_ProgramLiteLife.git
  3. Open your project on Android Studio.

  4. Start your emulator or android smartphone.

  5. Click Run "App".
