This pull request merged the most recent version of the develop branch onto the fusion-react-18-vite branch. The idea is that this branch is now the most up-to-date version, and all upcoming features should be merged into it.

Manual testing is left for this branch, as some unit tests are still failing (5 remaining). I will keep an overview of the things that are still broken.
