Major release! Pop systems have been added, along with a total overhaul of goods, buildings, budgets, optimization and more.

The installation process is likely broken at the moment. We recommend manually installing Cairo Graphics and node_modules.

  • Added ability to levy custom taxes

Buildings

  • Added job market mechanic to buildings where buildings post job offers
  • Buildings now earn money selling goods to market
  • Buildings now spend money buying goods and paying wages to employees
  • Completely overhauled and revamped buildings
  • Stockpiles for buildings are now a thing

Goods

  • Added goods for pop needs. These are measured both by fulfillment and variety
  • Added 100s of new goods
  • Production chains and choices are now a thing and can be viewed in inventory.

Optimization

  • Optimized pop purchases
  • Triumph & Tragedy is now multicored/multithreaded. You should be able to adjust the number of cores/threads in settings.js

Pops

  • Added artisan subsistence production
  • Added attribute-oriented population expression
  • Pops can now migrate between provinces
  • Pops can change profession
  • Added subsistence mechanics for unemployed pops
  • Pops can be selected for granularly using the current beta pop engine
  • Pops can now have different ages
  • Pops will now search for jobs
  • Wealth pools make sure that pop spending/income/wealth is tracked accurately
  • Pops now have needs that need to be fulfilled in order to make sure they don't starve

Technology

  • Patched technology to fit with new buildings

UI

  • Added building, modifier, and parsing tooltips
  • Added demographics and wealth pool viewers
  • Core UIs have been modified to be more compact
  • Inventory has been overhauled with search mechanics and relevant good filters
