Change races into activities

The idea

It would be great if we had the possibility to have differente kind of activities instead of races. So I tought about a new architecture : races would be changed into activities, where we would add a type : race, training or other.

Categories

We can keep the categories linked to this new activity object, as it will still be useful, even for other kind of activities than races.

Activity as an event

I think it would be great to have the possibility to have an activity as an event, and to have it displayed directly on the event page. For example if we start giving informations about weekly trainings there. For that we are going to need an activity page, and have the possiblity to make activities independent from events.
