Gemini 2.3 Guidance

- Ensure you pick the correct branch for the version of GeoNetwork that you are using. See Readme.md for the specific branch for any changes you need to make to core GeoNetwork or other schemas.
- In your GeoNetwork Admin Console/settings, go to Metadata Configuration and ensue that the setting
Remove schema location for validationis checked, and save your settings. If this is not checked you will see schema errors when you validate records. - The default configuration is to validate against the Gemini 2.3 core and supplemental schematron, but also ISO19139 (gmx_and_srv.xsd) and ISO19139 Table A1 Constraints, for compatibility with data.gov.uk (see https://guidance.data.gov.uk/publish_and_manage_data/harvest_or_add_data/harvest_data/gemini/#gemini for more details). If you only want to validate against the main Gemini 2.3 schematron, and simply wish for the others to report warnings rather than errors, then go to Admin Console/Standards/Schematron and for Gemini 2.3 set the schematrons that you are interested in to
