Implemented React Native carousel animation for displaying Movies The Movies are taken from TMDB

Built with:

• Expo
• TypeScript
• Lottie - for loader Animation
• React Native ReAnimated
• React Native Pose

I used the Airbnb Javascript style guide https://github.com/airbnb/javascript.

Get Started

1. System Requirements

• Globally installed node

• Globally installed Expo CLI npm install -g expo-cli

• yarn brew install yarn

2. Installation

On the command prompt run the following commands

$ git clone https://github.com/ArunPougajendy/movies-carousel.git

$ cd movies-carousel/

$ yarn install

Setup an Android emulator

Genymotion works well and has a free version

Install Xcode

You can find it in the Mac App Store

Download Expo Client on your phone

Start Expo

Run expo start
