Install/Update Instructions

We HIGHLY recommend using our installer to install the mod automatically, instead of the files on this page.

DO NOT USE THE FILES BELOW UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO INSTALL MANUALLY, AND HAVE READ THE MANUAL INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

THIS PAGE ONLY CONTAINS ONE PART OF THE PATCH. YOU NEED OTHER FILES FOR THE MOD TO WORK

If you really want to install manually, follow the manual install instructions.

Changelog

  • Fix longstanding "Reading final TIPS sometimes causes game progress reset and game restart" issue. See #26 "Extras menu locking itself after completion" for details.
    • I think this would happen if you read the final tips, without previously unlocking any Steam achievements in that game session (only affects Steam version of game).
    • If you completed the TIPS under this condition, it would cause a soft-crash, which would reset your progress and restart the game (kick you to the startup logo screen). You would also notice the textbox overlaid on the main menu.
  • Fix various typos and wrong character name:
