I tried updating it by hand, following the official Gnome4 instructions here:

https://gjs.guide/extensions/upgrading/gnome-shell-40.html

It may have worked, however in Gnome 4 the shortcut key is completely ignored, so I can't see if it's working or not. If someone else can figure out what Gnome changed about shortcuts then might be able to get this working again.

(NB: keybindings aren't listed in the upgrade/porting guide, so ... I don't know why that would have stopped working)
