position right or bottom not working

Hello, thanks for your fantastic addon. Currently I'm having some problems when setting the position of the addon, it seems that the only working positions are left or top, even if I choose right or bottom. When you choose top or bottom, furthermore, the size you fixed (in pixel or percent), isn't respected, because the terminal takes all the available estate.

Secondarily I ask what bash does the drop down terminal use, is it the default terminal bash shell? Would it be possible to change that and to default for example to terminator?

Another problem... when I use align left, the terminal doesn't align to the left side, but stay further, by a random distance which changes frequently.

Same issue here as well.

On ubuntu 20.04 it can't be used on the left because of the fixed dock with the shortcuts, which cover the terminal...
So I have to use it on the right.
