Feature Request - Position

I currently have the "dash to panel' extension installed. As such it would be nice if I could choose a custom starting position. Because the panel is on the bottom of the screen I either cant see the command line of the terminal when it's on the bottom or there's a gap when it's at the top.

Facing same issue. I am using dash to panel in bottom position. However, there is gap between drop down terminal at top position and screen which is same as height of dash to panel.
