The basic idea is that the stats of Machines / Buildings can be altered by special Buildings.
(Kinda Similar to a Beacon in Factorio)

Examples: (ideas)

  • Storage Array → expands DSU / Cold Storage Capacity
  • External AI Processer → Increases Production Speed

Benefits of implementing:

More Balance adjustment Options

  • Research for boost
  • Cost of boost building
  • Size of boost building
  • Power / Item Consumption of boost building
  • Tradeoff effects Possible (less power but slower, ...)

QOL:

  • Allows for more divers Setups
  • Allows for possibly balanced Items without absurd Energy demands

Note
This system is strongly inspired by plans that Odd // Nickodemus & Madman666 had for their Storage System.
(just like #612 )
