Tabs local for splitview

I know that tabs are at the top of hierarchy and contain bufpanes (that can be split) but I need tabs for on concrete splitted buffer pane is it possible without hacks with drawing custom decors in that bupane and manually don't allow to go that lines?

No currently tabs are officially supported for "top level" split in the tree. I am not sure but maybe it is possible (via plugin) to create custom TabList node (or whatever name the node that is responsible for managing tabs have) and do hacks with switching... I don't know. I just gave up when when in code that it assumes top level...

that's unfortunate, this editor is near perfect, maybe if i have time i'll look into writing a plugin for it

I would recommend you to start from installing existing plugins and reading their code. The main plugin channel is abandoned so I recommend https://github.com/taconi/plugin-channel. And you will certainly need to read source code of the micro because every lua function is almost 100% map the go function in source code
