How to iterate over the lines of current file/BufferPane

I understand that in my function called by registered key binding I get BufferPane. I want to iterate over each line of the file associated with but I don't understand how. I don't see the appropriate methods in BufferPane or Buffer... Do I need to use go std? If yes, where to see?
