I dusted off (well, partially dusted off) my old X230 and pulled off the keyboard; the IO cable appears to use the same 30-pin FPC connector but I did not test it. Getting the first prototype to work with my X220 took some fiddling since the flat flex is too thin, so I didn't want to pull it out. It's something I'll check if I do another rev.

@zakqwy : I would love to generalize this to all xx20 and xx30 platforms. Do you have some time?
