How to leave <b> intact in codeblocks?

How can I alter the HTML generated for codeblocks so that <b> and </b> are left intact, and not escaped?

For example with this markdown:

```
fmt.Println(<b>len(x)</b>)
```

Currently I get this HTML:

<pre><code>
fmt.Println(&lt;b&gt;len(x)&lt;/b&gt;)
</code></pre>

Instead I'd like to be able to do something like this in markdown:

``` {leave-bold}
fmt.Println(<b>len(x)</b>)
```

And get this HTML:

<pre><code>
fmt.Println(<b>len(x)</b>)
</code></pre>

I just want <b> and </b> ignored, and still want all other escaping.
