[Bug] Words are not correctly synced between multiple tabs

My issue is that the word list is not really synchronized between tabs if you have multiple open and switch back and forth.
According to the comment in the issue, the word list should be updated if you refresh the page. However, it does not do it for me, at least not 100% of the time.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to a website
2. Enter word list
3. Duplicate the tab
4. Change the word list
5. Now change back and forth in the tabs, change words, and refresh the page. The word list is not correctly updated in both directions, only sometimes and after reloading the page multiple times.

Expected behavior
I expect the word list to always be perfectly synchronized between all tabs, without refreshing any page. If the argument is that it should be possible to have different lists, then this should be an option.

Additional context
Apparently the list should be refreshed when reloading the page (Although it doesn't for me). However, even if it worked, it is not great. Isn't there a way to always synchronize the word list at all times, without refreshing any page? Having to refresh every tab would significantly slow down our workflow and make this extension unusable...

We switched from an old, no longer supported version of a Multi-highlighter (which did perfectly synchronize at all times) to this one and it is so much better, with more options, but we can't use it, because the word list is not perfectly synchronized and we have to use many tabs at once and switch back and forth all day long.

For example, I just confirmed that https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/multi-highlight-tool/elbamfklmdfhbighpndmfdidofdonigb does perfectly synchronize the word list 100% of the time, without any action. However, it is missing all of the options. I would love to use your extension, but I can only really do that if the word list is synchronized perfectly like it is in this other extension...
