Thank you for the tool!
I want to simulate a hic data for my E. coli. Do I have to use a hic data from E. coli as input for the simulation? Can I use the HIC data of human HG002 for the simulation?

Hello,

Yes, FreeHiC will need the target E.coli Hi-C matrix as input to learn the interaction patterns. FreeHiC can only add randomness to the contacts.

Thanks,
Ye
