Apparently the feature has been removed.

There is another TypeScript plugin for StarUML here: https://github.com/cotlod/StarUMLTypescript
I was able to install it via the extension manager by "Install From Url..." pointing to the GitHub URL above.
The reverse engineering part fails with the following error on the console:

 [Typescript] Failed to parse - my.ts  : ReferenceError: Typescript is not defined
