[BUG]: Can't download 24 bit >44.1khz. #1161
Comments
How do you see the Max option? I only see the old Normal, High, Hifi & Master options |
I am running from source. The latest release is old and does not have that option. |

Same problem here. From a 192khz album i get 48khz. Sometimes i don't even get 24bit but 16bit instead |
same here - do we need a different API key? |
This is happening with all HiRes Lossless tracks (24bit - 44.1 to 192khz) that tidal is releasing with the exception of MQA tracks! To check, this album "Chris Brown - 11-11 Deluxe" has 24bit - 48.0 kHz but when trying to use tidal-dl, you only receive 16b/44.1k (...track/356158340?u) |
Same here. I can only get 16bit. |
Not sure if this is related: https://support.tidal.com/hc/en-us/articles/25876825185425-Upcoming-Changes-to-Audio-Formats |

Describe the bug
When I try to download a 24 bit FLAC I only get the 16 bit version. I am using API key 4 and using the Max quality option.
