Thumbs do not swipe on mobile

It seems the thumbnails do not swipe when viewed on iPhone or iPad (iOS 10) and don't advance when the most left or right thumb is clicked. Also, the show/hide thumbs button is not functioning on mobile.

it seems to work on devtools mobile emulator and only on my Android's Chrome.

which mobile browser have you tested it on? I have no iPhone and know nobody which own that device,
whom I can ask to test it on.

I have tested on iPad Air and iPad2, as well as iPhone 6 and 7 running iOs 10. I'll do some more investigation and try to get you some more info (no console errors noted) but is a consistent repeatable bug on all these devices.

I confirm the bug is still relevant iOS 12.1 (Iphone 6s and iPad)

1. I don't have an Apple device to test this on
2. I haven't maintained this project in a long time and I personally think it's a bit outdated since in the last few years there has been a boom in such components. Although Photobox was amazing at the time, the codebase relies on jQuery and is a bit messy.

I do not have time to maintain this old project and if anybody wants to contribute, PRs are welcome :)
