AWS Lambda Function ftp2s3

AWS Lambda Function to sync files from ftp to S3 using scheduler (EventBridge)

Prerequisites

  • Create S3 bucket as destination for files (sink)

  • Create IAM role for service account with full permission to S3 service(AmazonS3FullAccess)

  • Create AWS lambda Function with parameters and security role created before.

  • Create scheduler using EventBridge

Configuration

  • AWS specific configuration depends on default setup for AWS secret id and key

  • Runtime-specific configuration stored in config.py that uses global variables so it can be modified directly or be passed as arguments.
