Describe the feature
Do some HW testing with non XMOS UART to evaluate the performance and robustness of the UART RTOS/HIL combination

Will this change any current APIs? How?
Nope

Who will benefit with this feature?
All UART users

Any Other info
FTDI seem to be a significant player in UART. Using an FTDI adapter will also allow for a test script to be easily develope
