Making tags more useful

In our design history, we use sections to separate posts by workstream and tags for the release phase (Alpha, private beta, etc.), amongst others.

While the browse-by-tag page is handy, you do lose sight of the section that each post sits in. We've discussed this internally and thought that being able to filter by tag, or filters in general for each section would be beneficial. We already have sections with around 30 posts and some way of organising these beyond their chronology would be great.
