Can you elaborate? What are you looking to achieve?

Hi, thanks for replying. I'd like to be able to vote negatively with the same quadratic properties, just as it is positive voting. So, kind of downvoting in reddit, but quadratically.

Interesting. The reason for only upvotes was to keep it positive.
People will be inclined to engage, contribute and discuss in a positive setting.
(no data to back that up though)
So you get a decently ordered backlog of improvements people like to see next.

I often feel that people just downvote (e.g. on Reddit) because it's possible.
Potentially just to troll, without any explanation as why.

I'd love to hear if there is any specific use-case for using down votes?
Is it for prioritization and backlog management, or are you using Tokenlog voting in another way?
I have been thinking about different voting strategies on different items. Or more closely aligned to the development cycle.
So issues/ideas could remain only upvotes. But PRs for example, could be yes/no. Those would be more critical to decline/vote against if it contains a bug/issue or go against community ethos.

Hi thank you for replying.
A bunch of people started developing this and using it in a non-orthodox way. We want to use the power of quadratic voting to dynamically elect the role of admin position in our DAO channels of communication (https://snapshot.org/#/poh.eth/proposal/QmcExPbbXvNt8Mbv9sRVeiJR9vyeGpoDTzw2ewkBtDRSx6). We'd like to use the system to assign positive and negative voting as a sentiment thermometer for the job that particular admin is doing. It's true that only positive votes makes a lot of sense for dev issue prioritization, and downvotes make a lot of sense for PR/acceptance.

Interesting.
It's also added again at #47

Will definitely keep this at the backlog. Need to push out the next release first, before adding any additional features to it.

Hi, just checking in after a while. Wondering if there are any slight chance of having this feature. Thanks!

Hi @luiandresgonzalez

Unfortunately, there haven't been many visitors/activity recently, so I'm not actively developing on Tokenlog at the moment.
Are you still (planning) to use it?

Hi! Yeah we are still needing and planning to do it, but if you do not consider it a thing that could be useful, I won't push you to do it, since I cannot be of any help.

I think it would be useful. Received similar feedback from others.

Tokenlog itself has been a lower priority for me though, as it seemed like it wasn't used that much anymore. Will keep this on the backlog tho
