Because this is not hosted on wordpress.org, users do not automatically receive plugin updates, and while the basic plugin doesn't do much more than offer an alternative engine and shouldn't need updates too often, it would be quite nice if those updates would still be automatic.

A simple addition would be to add support for: https://github.com/afragen/github-updater (adding the appropriate headers)

A standalone approach would be to use https://github.com/YahnisElsts/plugin-update-checker#github-integration

In both cases we need to find a way to separate the CJK releases from the non-CJK releases (in the standalone version we could use separate branches? needs proper testing)
