Currently, listeners are set up rather ineffectively and nearly everything uses compat entry APIs.
This should be rewritten to subscribe only where needed.

Additionally, it's possible that a lot of the functionality in TabGenerator should be refactored to elsewhere (the NT source classes, perhaps?).
