VST3 plug-in not showing #161
Comments
Thanks for the bug report! Sadly, I don't own a Mac, so it's a bit difficult for me to investigate this :( Are you able to reproduce the issue with other DPF-based plugins such as Dragonfly Reverb? https://michaelwillis.github.io/dragonfly-reverb/ |
I installed Dragonfly Reverb universal on my MacBook and so Cubase detected VST3 plug-ins. |
FWIW: In Audacity's pluginregistry.cfg, Wolf Shaper's VST3 version shows up as Edit: I tested this on Windows known good VST3 registry entry
Wolf Shaper VST3 entry
Wolf Shaper LV2 entry
|
Oh, I think you found the issue! The VST3 categories were not set. This should be fixed by e3f2066. |
Verified the fix on Audacity. @DotCat1985 try again with the builds that fall out of https://github.com/wolf-plugins/wolf-shaper/actions/runs/4193926094 |
It works! 👍 :) Thank you! |
@pdesaulniers let me know when this fix lands in a release, I'd like to add Wolf Shaper to https://plugins.audacityteam.org/ |
@LWinterberg OK, I will try to publish a release later today. Thanks! |
Hi, |
Hello! I have a few questions:
|
With the build https://github.com/wolf-plugins/wolf-shaper/suites/18107211264/artifacts/1043744554:
|
I installed universal plug-in on MacBook Pro M1 with macOS 12.6.1 (Monterey) and Cubase 12 running with Rosetta 2.
In Cubase 12, VST2 plug-in is showing but VST3 is not.
