Merging Cos-XL with other SDXL models? (COS-XL is an official Stability model)

Hello,

There's a newly discussed method for ComfyUI for merging the SAI special model COS-XL ( https://huggingface.co/stabilityai/cosxl) with normal SDXL models to utilize the better dynamic range COS-XL offers. At the moment I don't think it's possible to open the COS-XL models in Model Mixer.

I use both Comfy and A1111 but I much prefer model mixer for playing around with mixing models. I'm curious if the method outlined here for comfyui (comfyanonymous/ComfyUI_examples@abcc129 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJrkPsuwQkU) could be possible w/ M.Mixer in A1111. Would it only require an update to model mixer to not reject COS-XL models as different? Or is there more to it? I do believe the Comfy developer added support for COS-XL in that UI so maybe that's critical.

Closed as I think the webui has to support COS-XL (which it doesn't yet) in order for even merged models to be able to generate images. If COS-XL support is added I'll followup.
