add google account info

Just a feature request:

It would be really cool to have Google account information (image, +G, Gmail, notifications) in the right top corner, because it was the only useful feature in the new new-tab-page original design.

Is it possible to have such a feature switcher? Seems to be quick to implement.

I don't think it's very easy to implement. The original new tab page is overwritten before loading, so it's hard to extract the tools on the top right corner.
