Refresh most vistited webpage title thumbnail upon opening new tab

Basically I would like the thumbnail of the most visited title to refresh when a new tab is open (and maybe it wouldn't refresh for a set amount of time after that). I feel this would accompany the larger thumbnail quite well. I don't know if this is possible with the api but i would be most appreciative if you could/would add it

This extension uses the same thumbnails as the default new tab page, so the re-generation of the thumbnails depends on the browser. There is no api to re-generate thumbnails, unless screen capturing the open tabs and not using the browser generated thumbnails.
